I’m excited to be invited to be a Britt Education & Engagement Resident Artist again this year, and in partnership with Portland-based music producer mackxswell (my son Maxwell Longshore)! Our co-written piece, Trap Hat, has been a fan favorite everywhere on my 2023 balance | flow solo tour, and is also the theme music for Jefferson Public Radio’s The Jefferson Exchange. Following on that success, we have co-written three new pieces to be featured along with Trap Hat on this residency.

We will visit six schools over three days and share our co-composed percussion & electronic works with students ranging from elementary to high school. A big thanks to Kay Hilton, Britt’s Director of Education & Engagement!
