mackxswell (Maxwell Longshore) and I are so honored to have been commissioned by the Saratoga High School Percussion Ensemble (California Bay Area) to compose a new piece for them for their performance at The Midwest Clinic International Band, Orchestra and Music Conference in Chicago in December. A huge thanks to the Saratoga directors, Sean Clark and Chavadith Tantavirojn for reaching out to us to write a piece for them! Cascade is for five percussionists, percussion soloist, electronic track, and optional electronic soloist. Max and I will perform with them for the premiere in November at SHS, and at The Midwest Clinic in Chicago on December 20!

The concert is free admission and will be in the Saratoga High School Band Room (an incredible facility!) to replicate the Midwest Clinic acoustics and stage.
